Atlanta tech promoter Larry Williams is Miami's new Beacon Council president

Good news for tech in Miami -- Larry Williams, who currently runs the technology arm of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and has worked in economic development in Washington state and North Carolina, was named new president of Miami-Dade's Beacon Council on Friday.
